Insect consumption is an idea with buzz

Food Detective: In defense of bug-eating
Insect consumption, considered strange in the U.S., is common in many parts of the world. Students at the University of Chicago recently won $10,000 for developing a plan to bring insects to menus, arguing they are nutritious and less "environmentally costly" than meat.
